Important Licensing Update

Iowa Heat Pump Association
The Iowa Heat Pump Association (IHPA) is a non-profit organization consisting of leaders and authorities on ground and air source heat pumps. Members are able to share ideas and new industry information. The Association is controlled by heat pump dealers/contractors and installers. Memberships are also available for manufacturers, distributors, electric utility representatives, engineers, architects, educators and researchers.

The primary goal of IHPA is to promote and ensure quality heat pump installations. The Association will accomplish this by establishing industry standards and ensuring competent workmanship through continuing education. The IHPA also encourages the use of heat pumps as the most efficient method of using an alternative fuel source for consumers. We spread understanding of heat pump systems through advertising and the distribution of literature, as well as through meetings, lectures, and educational activities.

Our area of operations includes, but is not limited to, the state of Iowa. We currently have members throughout North America. The IHPA does not endorse or otherwise further the interests of any manufacturer or their products, or any individual association member.
